The class is run on three consecutive Wednesday evenings (2hrs), followed by a final class on a Saturday morning (4hrs) including a visit to Covent Garden Flower Market to meet the traders and select flowers for your bridal bouquet.

Saturday, September 24th: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Class one: Planning & Basic Arrangements
We will start with an introduction to JamJam Flowers, and an overview of what you will learn over the next 4 classes. Whether you are planning your own wedding or for a friend or client, this masterclass is designed to give you the skills and confidence you need.
We will then of course get our hands on flowers. Your first arrangement of the course will be a hand tied bouquet in a JamJar. We will startwith prepping the flowers and then teach you the techniques of a hand tie. You’ll then be able to take your arrangement home and enjoy the fruits of your first class.
Class two: Styling - Floral Theme & Table Decoration
The success of your ambitions relies on your imagination and a clear style. During the second class we will give you a ‘tool kit’ of advice on how to create the style you are after. From understanding what you, or your bride & groom want, to coming up with visual style and themes and achieving them. Here we will focus on table arrangements - we have a wonderful collection of vintage and antique vases and vessels for you to use and get inspired by. After we’ve fuelled you with ideas, you will concept, style and make your own table centre. You will then be able to take the flowers home with you and style using your own vases and vessels.
Class three: Technique - Wiring & Bouquets
This is the most technical class of the course where we will teach you the art of wiring.and where to start with making a bouquet. We will start with the basics of wiring, which you will need to know for any wired piece. We’ll then make buttonholes, broach corsages and hair flowers. You are then welcome to take some equipment home to continue practising the art of wiring.
For the second part of the class we will begin to learn how to make a bouquet. To begin we will focus on the technique, using flowers we provide. This will prepare you for our final class of the course - where you will create a bouquet using flowers and a style of your choosing (based on our guidance).
Class four: Flower Market visit and Bouquet Making
We will meet at the flower market in South London at 8am. Here we will show you around, introduce you to our favourite traders and explain how it all works. Then you’ll be set with the challenge of choosing and buying your focal flowers for the bouquet you will make later that morning. We will be providing all of the foliage and filler flowers, allowing you to choose the focal flowers that will make your arrangement unique.
We’ll then head back to the studio for some strong coffee and our final class. Of course, you can then take your bouquet home to enjoy and recreate.
